Uncle City Tailor is a privately owned family business founded decades ago and the skills passed from generation to generation. It is owned and run by Mr. Lithuso Mujovo and has been a registered company from 2016. Our aim has and still is to empower youth through the love of fashion, design and applied creativity as well as working in a managed structure/ workplace while accomplishing a same goal as a team.
We come from the previously disadvantaged families but have worked hard to build a business applying the skill sets we learned from our parents and ensuring that we turn that skill in to a productive business that will feed the generations to come. We recognise the value and the support we received from our community hence youth empowerment is our focus. We look for market opportunities available and we strive to feel the gap; we rise above the obstacles and we face them with determination- we do not give up.
